Publication of prospectus and move to the Main Market
Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited, a company involved in the exploration, development and production of coal bed methane gas in India, announces the publication of its prospectus in relation to the introduction of its Global Depositary Receipts ('GDRs') to the Standard List of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (the 'Official List') and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's Main Market for listed securities (the 'Main Market').
As announced on 27 April, admission of its GDRs to the Standard List on the Official List and commencement of trading in the GDRs on the Main Market is expected to occur at 8.00am on 28 May 2010. The Company's GDRs will continue to trade under the ticker 'GEEC' and the Company's ISIN (being US39032T1060) will remain unchanged.
The Company wishes to notify shareholders that trading of its GDRs on AIM will be cancelled simultaneously with its admission to trading on the Main Market.
Arden Partners plc has acted as financial adviser in relation to the move and will continue to act as financial adviser and joint broker to the Company. RBC Capital Markets will continue to act as joint broker to the Company.
