Allotment of Shares
Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited ("Great Eastern Energy" or "Company"), a company involved in the exploration, development and production of coal bed methane is pleased to announce that, in furtherance to its announcement dated November 13, 2009 regarding Directors Dealing, the Board of Directors, after the approval of shareholders to the resolutions in the EGM held on December 1, 2009, has approved the allotment of 3,600,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to YKM Holdings International Limited, in which Mr. Yogendra Kr. Modi and Mr. Prashant Modi are interested. Their shareholding now stands at 60.48% in the Company.
Further to this issuance of these shares, the total issued and paid-up capital of the Company now comprises of 58,061,950 shares of Rs. 10/- each (i.e. 116,123,900 GDR's).
