 Result of Placing

Further to the announcement this morning in relation to a proposed placing and subscription of ordinary shares, GCM Resources plc (LON: GCM) (the "Company" or "GCM"), an AIM quoted mining and energy company, is pleased to announce that it has successfully placed 13,446,661 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each (the "Placing Shares") with institutional and professional investors at a price of 7.5 pence per share (the "Issue Price") via an accelerated bookbuild (the "Placing"). The Placing has raised gross proceeds of £1.01 million. The Issue Price represents a discount of approximately 19 per cent. to the middle market closing price on 25 March 2021.

Application will be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM on or around 01 April 2021 ("Admission"). Upon Admission the Company will have 132,028,291 Ordinary Shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
