Falanx Group Limited announces that Karl Barclay, Executive Chairman of Falanx Group has informed the Board that he proposes to retire by 31 March 2016. Karl founded Stirling Assynt, a subsidiary of the Group, in 2008 and has been Executive Chairman of Falanx since its admission to AIM in 2013.
The Board has accepted this decision and thanks the Chairman for his services to the Group. Karl will continue to support the Group after stepping down as Executive Chairman on a consultant basis.
The Board has commenced the process for identifying a new Non-Executive Chairman and a further update will be provided in due course. Karl will continue his role as Executive Chairman until such time as his replacement is found.
