San Francisco, Calif., April 6, 2016 - Schoold, a new innovative college and career lifecycle planning startup, announces today that Richard Moran, President of Menlo College, has joined its Board of Directors. This expansion positions Schoold for its next stage of growth. Schoold provides a college and career-planning app that helps young people and their families plan their future education. Its app is designed to take the guesswork out of the college planning process by giving high school students personalized recommendations and insights.

A noted San Francisco based business leader, venture capitalist author and social scientist, Richard previously served as CEO and Vice Chairman at Accretive Solutions, as a Partner at Venrock, Chairman of the Board at Portal Software and as a Partner at Accenture. He serves or has previously served on the boards of numerous highly regarded business, non-profit and technology organizations, including The Council of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Joint Venture Silicon Valley and Glu Mobile.

Launched in late February of this year in the Google Play Store, its namesake app Schoold vaulted to the number one top free college search app. This was followed up with the release of its iOS app just last week, which also climbed quickly to hover as a top 15 free app in the App Store. Schoold's app has an average rating of more than 4.5 stars and is available for free download in the App Store and Google Play.
