Appointment of New Non-Executive Director
The Directors of China Growth Opportunities Limited are pleased to announce the appointment today of Dr Weiming Zhang to the Board of the Company as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Dr Zhang is a highly experienced investment banker and presently serves as Managing Director of FirstAlliance Capital ("FirstAlliance"), an independent advisory firm serving growth companies in the People's Republic of China and the Greater China Region. Prior to joining FirstAlliance in 1999, Dr Zhang served as an Associate Director at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell in Hong Kong.
Dr Zhang received a Ph.D. in management from Columbia Business School, New York in 1998.
Commenting on the new appointment, Rhys Davies, Chairman of the Company said:
