Federal Grid Company EGM Results
Moscow, 11 November 2013 - Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System ("Federal Grid Company" or "the Company") (Moscow Exchange, LSE: FEES), part of the Russian Grids Group of companies and operator of Russia's unified electricity transmission grid system, announces the results of an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGM) that took place on 11 November 2013.
At the EGM, shareholders voted on the following three items:
1) Early termination of powers of the current Chairman of the Management Board
2) To elect Andrey Murov as the new Chairman of the Management Board
3) To elect members of the Company's Audit Commission:
a. Anna Drokova
b. Leonid Neganov
c. Anna Nesterova
d. Karim Samakhuzhin
e. Vladimir Khvorov
Andrey Murov, who is currently the Acting Chairman of the Management Board, will assume his duties as the Chairman of the Federal Grid Company Management Board effective immediately.
Short bio:
Andrey Murov was elected to the Management Board of Federal Grid Company in September 2012. From June 2012 he had been the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board the Company. Between January 2012 and June 2012 he worked as Deputy General Director of MRSK Holding. Mr. Murov was General Director of Pulkovo Airport Federal State Unified Company from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, he worked as Director (2005 to 2007) and First Deputy General Director (2004 to 2005) of Pulkovo Federal State Unified Aviation Service Company. From 2000 to 2004 he worked in the telecommunications and construction industries. Andrey Murov worked as Deputy General Director of ICN Oktyabr from 1996 to 2000, and in 1993-1996 he worked in the City Bar Association ofSaint-Petersburg.
Andrey Murov holds the degree of Doctor of Economic Science. In 2009 he graduated from the State University of Civil Aviation with a degree in "Organization of transportation and management on transport (air transport)". In 1998 he completed a financial management training programme at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Executive Staff Refresher Training and Retraining. He received a law degree in 1993 from the St. Petersburg State University.
He has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II grade, Order of Honor, has Certificates of Merit and appreciation of the Governor and the administration of Saint Petersburg. Mr. Murov is also an honorable worker of transport of Russia.
Andrey Murov was born on 26 March 1970.
