Director / PDMR Shareholding Notification

The Board of First Derivatives advises that Mr. Brian Conlon, Chief Executive Officer and founder shareholder, has notified it that in March 2002, prior to the Company's admission to AIM or IEX, he had pledged his shareholding in the issued share capital of the Company to be used against lending obligations as he may, from time to time become responsible for and which at 22 January 2009 amounted to £3m. The titles of three unencumbered Central London residential properties were also pledged as the security. 

The 9,069,000 Ordinary Shares held in the Company by Mr. Conlon currently represents 66% per cent. of the Company's entire issued share capital. 

No other Director of the Company has granted security over or entered into any financial instruments relating to any of their holdings of Ordinary Shares in the Company.
