French Connection Group PLC announces Board changes

French Connection Group PLC ("French Connection" or "the Group") announces that Sarah Curran MBE and Robin Piggott have joined the Board as independent Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.

Sarah has a wealth of experience in the fashion industry, particularly in the increasingly important digital and ecommerce areas. Having initially opened her own lifestyle boutique, she then co-founded and was CEO of My-Wardrobe.com. More recently she has been Managing Director of Very Exclusive, the luxury division of Shop Direct Group. She will be Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

Robin brings an extensive track record in the clothing and retail industry. He most recently spent 6 years as CFO at Moss Bros Group PLC after many years as Group Finance Director of Alexon Group plc. He will take up the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee and will be a member of the Remuneration Committee.

The Group also announces that Claire Kent and Dean Murray, currently Non-Executive Directors have today stepped down from the Board.

For the purpose of Listing Rule 9.6.13 Robin Piggott was a Director of Moss Bros Group PLC from June 2010 to May 2016. He was also a Director of Epcoscan Limited (t/a Bay Trading), a subsidiary of Alexon Group plc, which went into administration in April 2009 and a Director of Style Holdings and Style Menswear Ltd, subsidiaries of Alexon Group plc sold in February 2008, which went into administration in December 2008.

Sarah Curran was a Director of Meemi Limited (t/a My-Wardrobe.com) from January 2003 until July 2013, which went into administration in November 2013.
