French Connection Group plcChange of Auditor

French Connection Group PLC (the "Company") announces that, following the conclusion of a formal audit tender process led by the Company's Audit Committee, the Board has approved the proposed appointment of Mazars LLP as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31 January 2020. The appointment will be subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting to be held in May 2019.

In accordance with section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, KPMG LLP, the Company's current auditor, has deposited a statement with the Company detailing the circumstances connected with their ceasing to hold office as auditor of the Company (the "Statement"). The Statement confirms that KPMG resigned following the conclusion of the audit tender process. KPMG was not invited to participate in the process, due to the rules on the mandatory rotation of auditors. A copy of the Statement will be sent to every person who is entitled to receive a copy of the Company's Annual Reports and Financial Statements.
