Withdrawal of Possible Offer for Exillon Energy Plc (the "Company")
On 3 December 2013, Hanberg Finance Limited ("Hanberg") announced that it was in the process of considering making an offer to acquire the balance of the Company's ordinary shares (amounting to approximately 85.1 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital) that Hanberg does not already own.
Hanberg confirms that it has decided not to proceed further with an offer for the Company. Hanberg, however, reserves its rights to make an offer in the circumstances set out in Note 2 of Rule 2.8 of the Takeover Code, including with the consent of the Company.
