Earthport plc, the global payments utility, announces that Paul Michael Thomas has been appointed as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, with immediate effect.
Paul (46) joins from Fiserv where he was head of sales, with responsibility for the post-trade securities processing and corporate actions processing software solutions of Fiserv's Investment Services business. Paul has managed the development of new business into some of the world's largest financial services organisations including Barclays, JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC and the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Paul has nearly twenty years of experience in the securities software arena. Most notably, prior to joining Fiserv he was head of sales and marketing at Broadridge (previously ADP Wilco), where he played a leading role in developing the global sales organisation including the opening of a Frankfurt office and establishing a sales presence in the Far East. Paul has also worked at a number of other market leading and innovative companies including Bloomberg and SunGard.

Paul Thomas holds 530 ordinary shares in the Company on behalf of his daughter. Paul was awarded 1,000,000 options over ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company, with and exercise price of 25 pence each and exercisable over three years from date of grant.
