The Company announces that following the issue of equity to Highlands Village Limited ("HVL") as announced on 19 July 2016, Non-executive Chairman Stephen Wicks and Executive Director Nishith Malde have increased their indirect interest in the Company due to their respective shareholdings in HVL.
HVL holds 17,375,000 shares in the Company, representing 28.4% per cent of Energiser's enlarged issued ordinary share capital.
Stephen Wicks holds 23,558,855 shares in the Company directly, representing 38.5% per cent of Energiser's issued ordinary share capital. Additionally, Stephen holds 2,332,235 shares in HVL, representing 33.2% per cent of HVL's issued ordinary share capital. Prior to the issue of equity to HVL, Stephen Wicks held a direct interest in 53.8% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
Nishith Malde holds 5,935,646 shares in the Company directly, representing 9.7% per cent of Energiser's issued ordinary share capital. Additionally, Nishith holds 589,100 shares in HVL, representing 8.4% per cent of HVL's issued ordinary share capital. Prior to the issue of equity to HVL, Nishith Malde held a direct interest in 13.6% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
