Electra Private Equity PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of FrancescaBarnes as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.
Francesca Barnes recently retired from a 27 year career in finance, the lastseven of which were spent as Global Head of Private Equity for UBS, where shewas responsible for the global private equity practice. She worked for ChaseManhattan for 11 years in the UK and US and then joined Swiss Bank/UBS workingin restructuring, loan portfolio management and ultimately running the globalprivate equity business.
Ms Barnes now pursues a portfolio of activities in both the commercial andvoluntary sectors, including non-executive director of Coutts and Company;non-executive director of Capvis private equity; Chair of Governors of theBridge Academy, Hackney; Chair of Trustees of Penny Brohn Cancer Care andIntoUniversity Advisory Board.
There is no information concerning Ms Barnes which is required to be disclosedpursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
