Significant events to be reported: Clarifications on the Dividend Payment Date as the effect of the 25 April 2024 EGMS Resolutions

Electrica reiterates the information communicated to shareholders and investors that, regarding the date of payment of dividends for the year 2023, as 21 June 2024 by the OGMS of 25 April 2024, this is affected as a result of the EGMS decisions of 25 April 2024, respectively the reduction of the share capital as a result of the cancellation of Electrica's own shares, an operation that falls under art. 208 of the Companies Law no. 31/1990 ("the Law").

In this context, at this moment, we can estimate that the dividend payment date could occur as early as 22 July 2024, to the extent that no objections will be registered at the ORC (Commercial Registry Office) in accordance with the provisions of art. 208 of the Law.

We mention that from the checks carried out, up to the date of this current report, it does not appear that requests have been registered based on art. 208 of the Law.
