Egdon Resources PLC10 January 2008 Egdon Resources Plc Demerger Timetable Egdon Resources Plc, the independent UK on-shore focused energy company("Egdon"), in advance of the Court hearings on the 14 January and 15 January,would like to confirm the expected timetable for the principal events of thedemerger of its business into New Egdon plc (to be renamed "Egdon Resources plc"following the demerger) and Portland Gas plc. Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the suspension oftrading in Egdon shares at 7.00am on 15 January 2008 and therefore the last dayof dealings in Egdon shares will be 14 January 2008. Application will also bemade to the London Stock Exchange for cancellation of admission to trading onAIM of the Egdon shares conditional upon the demerger becoming effective.Cancellation of admission to trading will take effect at 8.00am on 17 January2007. Following the demerger becoming effective it is anticipated that dealings in theshares of New Egdon plc and Portland Gas plc will commence at 8.00am on 17January 2008.
