Exercise of Options

Electrocomponents announces that Ian Mason (Group Chief Executive) today exercised all the options granted to him in July 2009, as set out below, under the rules of the Scheme:

He has retained all of these shares.

Following this transaction, Ian has an interest in a total of 451,599 shares, representing 0.1% of the Company's issued share capital.

This announcement relates to a transaction notified today in accordance with DTR 3.1.2R.
