Further to the announcement of 16 July, the Board of Eckoh announces that Mr Christopher Batterham has today assumed the role of Chairman of the Group. Mr Peter Reynolds, the outgoing Chairman, is stepping down from the Board with immediate effect.
Chris Batterham, Chairman of Eckoh, said:
"I would like to thank Peter Reynolds on behalf of the Eckoh board for his hard work and guidance of the Group over the past five years in his role as Chairman. He leaves the company in a strong position as the UK's market leader of hosted speech recognition services and with excellent prospects for further periods of sustained growth in profitability and value.
"The Board remains extremely positive about the opportunity offered by the Speech Solutions division to deliver value for shareholders. Following recent events I look forward to a period of stability and working with the management team through the interesting times ahead."
