Dart Group PLC ("the Company")

On 4 September 2008 Andrew Merrick, Group Finance Director, was granted options over 200,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an exercise price of 24.75 pence per share. The options were granted in accordance with the Dart Group PLC Unapproved Share Option Plan 2005. Subject to certain conditions, 50 per cent of the options are exercisable after the third anniversary of the grant date and 50 per cent of the options are exercisable after the sixth anniversary of the grant date. The options expire on the tenth anniversary of the grant date.
