For release 07:00 27 April 2005 Densitron Technologies plc ("Densitron") Directorate Change Further to Mr. Phil Lawler's previously announced intention to step down asChairman and Director of Densitron Technologies plc, Mr Steve Wells and MrColin Bonsey, both non-executive Directors, have resigned from their posts.We can confirm that the selection process for appointing a new director is nowcomplete and we are pleased to announce that the Board has appointed Mr BenMerrett as Director and Chairman. Consequently Phil has now resigned asDirector and Chairman.It is the intention that a review of the composition of the Board going forwardwill be carried out and any changes will be announced in due course.As discussed in the Announcement of 13th April 2005 the Board has beensupplemented by an Executive Team made up of the Executive Directors, EdwardPrice, as director of Technology, and Alan Bell, as director of Operations.Ben Merrett background:Ben Merrett is a graduate of Warwick University and Sandhurst. He completed anMBA at Cranfield School of Management in 1992. He subsequently held a number ofsenior management posts in BT, Clerical Medical and Perot Systems and WorldOnline.Ben has been the Chief Executive Officer of Gladstone PLC for the last 3 ‚½years. Since his appointment at Gladstone the group's market capitalisation hasgrown 4 fold.The board would like to thank Mr. Lawler for his service to Densitron over thepast two years as Chairman and his guidance through a critical period in theCompany's development.
