For Immediate Release
25 November 2008
DQ Entertainment plc (“DQE”) gets repeat orders from
Nickelodeon animation Studios Inc, CA

DQ Entertainment International (“DQE”) has started service productions for Nickelodeon animation Studios Inc, Burbank, USA - the largest producer of television animation in the U.S. - to produce Nickelodeon’s “Fan Boy and Chum Chum” and “The Penguins of Madagascar”, high end CGI children’s animated TV series.

The trust built through quality of production and delivery management by DQE after the successful production of CGI animated TV series Tak, has resulted in getting these major projects from Nickelodeon.

“Fanboy and Chum Chum” is a spin off from the upcoming Nicktoons Network anthology series Random! Cartoons, while “The Penguins of Madagascar” is a spin off from the feature film ‘Madagascar’ from Dreamworks.
“The Penguins of Madagascar” and “Fanboy and Chum Chum” join Nickelodeon's successful slate of animated series including SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly Oddparents, The Mighty B!, Tak, and Back at the Barnyard.

These productions will result in a direct multi million dollar revenue (including Tak, The Penguins of Madagascar and Fanboy & Chum Chum) for DQE and have led the company to build more capacity for Nickelodeon to undertake further productions in 2009-10.
