Board Composition

The Company announced, on 21 December 2017, that Mr Norman Yarrow would retire from the Board at the Annual General Meeting in 2019 and that, at the same time, it would seek to recruit two new independent Directors. The Board today announces that due to progression in his Parkinson's Disease, Mr Yarrow has decided to step down from the Chairmanship earlier than originally planned, he will, however, carry on as a Director in the short term. Therefore, with effect from today, Mr James Barnes will fill the role of Chairman. The Board has already commenced its search for new Directors and Mr Yarrow will remain as a non-executive Director of the Company until his replacement has been appointed, at which point he will retire from the Board. Mr Yarrow has served as a Director since May 1998 and as Chairman since February 2015. The Board would like to express its sincere thanks to Mr Yarrow for his service to the Company as its Chairman and looks forward to continuing to work with him while he remains as a Director.

Mr Barnes is the Senior Independent Director and was appointed as a Director in December 2003. Following completion of the recruitment process he intends to step down from the Board during 2019.
