Annual General Meeting
The Board of Oxford Advanced Surfaces Group Plc the AIM listed technology developer targeting a number of global markets including automotive, aerospace, electronics and renewable energy, is pleased to confirm that all resolutions proposed at today's AGM were duly passed.
The Chairman confirmed that the Company's recent commercial success of winning its first order, as announced on RNS REAC on 30 June 2014, whilst being an strong indicator of commercial traction and technology acceptance, will not have a material impact on revenues
In addition, the Chairman confirmed that, with effect from 21 July, James Ede-Golightly will join the board as an additional non- executive director. Mr. Ede-Golightly age 34, has extensive experience as a non-executive on the boards of small and mid-sized AIM quoted companies with international business interests.
From 2006 to 2009 Mr. Ede-Golightly was an executive director of ORA Capital Partners Ltd, where he remains a non-executive director. He is a CFA Charterholder and was previously an analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Commerzbank. Mr Ede-Golightly has a beneficial interest in 580, 249 ordinary shares in the Company.
Save for the information disclosed below there is no other information to be disclosed under Rule 17 or Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in relation to Mr James Lawrence Ede-Golightly appointment as a Director of the Company other than as follows:
