Trading update, Bank licence re-submission and confirmation of half-year results publication date

The Company has had a positive first half of the year with loan balances up 47% in H1, rising to £168m as at 30 June 2019. The customer demand for DFC's products has been strong and overall the business is trading well, with a positive trajectory continuing into H2. This should result in a year end outcome in-line with expectations.

On 26 July 2019, DFC had a meeting with the Prudential Regulation Authority ("PRA") and the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") where it was agreed that DFC will re-submit the required information for its licence application following final checks within the next 10 days.

DFC's full half year results will be published on 19 September 2019, at which point the Company will give further guidance on the licence application progress and in addition, the outlook for the business.
