Technical and Financial Update - August 2012

Desire Petroleum plc (AIM:DES), the exploration company wholly focused on the North Falkland Basin, has today published on its website a Technical and Financial Update presentation which it intends to use in meetings with shareholders. This presentation has been posted on the Desire website www.desireplc.co.uk.

This presentation includes the results of the CPR update covering the Elaine and Isobel prospects, announced on 16 August 2012.
