Desire Petroleum plc("Desire" or the "Company")
Cancellation of Shares
The Company announces that it has cancelled 2,974 ordinary shares of 1p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). These shares were issued to an individual shareholder pursuant to the January 2010 open offer and share certificate were dispatched. Consideration for the shares was never paid and the registrars transferred the shares into treasury and cancelled the shares on 11 July 2012.
Following this cancellation, the total issued capital is 342,282,198 shares and the total number of voting rights is 342,282,198 shares.
