25 October 2007 Charles Taylor Consulting plc Directorate Change Appointment of Chairman
Charles Taylor Consulting plc ("CTC"), a leading global provider of support services for the insurance sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rupert Robson as Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 1 November 2007. This appointment follows the previously notified intention of the company to split the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive and to strengthen its Board. From this date, John Rowe, currently Chairman and Chief Executive, will step down as Chairman, while continuing as Chief Executive. Alistair Groom and Joe Roach will also step down from their positions as Deputy Chairmen, whilst remaining on the Board and continuing with their current executive responsibilities.
Mr. Robson, 46, brings to the role of Chairman significant expertise in banking and insurance markets and many years of senior management experience. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Tullett Prebon plc, the inter dealer broker, and Tenet Group Limited, one of the UK's largest IFA groups.
Previously he was Managing Director, Global Head, Financial Institutions Group, Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets at HSBC, having been Managing Director, Head of European Insurance, Investment Banking at Citigroup Global Markets. His initial City career was with Bankers Trust and J Henry Schroder Wagg. Between 1997 and 1999 he occupied various roles in financial services groups, including as Chairman of Cattles plc, and as Chief Executive of i.e. group plc.

In relation to Rupert Robson's appointment there are no other details to disclose under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
