EPRA Index Inclusion

The Board of Civitas Social Housing PLC is pleased to announce that the Company has been notified by EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) that it will be added to the FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Real Estate Index Series. This inclusion will be effective as of Monday 24 September 2018.

At this year's recent EPRA Annual Conference held in Berlin, the Company won EPRA's Outstanding Contribution to Society Award in the Social Infrastructure category. The award has an independent judging panel and is made to the organisation that has demonstrated a significant social impact through its work.

Michael Wrobel, Chairman of Civitas, commented: "The inclusion of Civitas in the highly regarded real estate FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Developed Index is a great milestone and should assist in broadening the base of potential investors.
