Appointment of Non-Executive Director

CPP Group (AIM:CPP), the international products and services business, today announces David Morrison has joined its Board as a non-independent non-executive director.

David brings more than 35 years' experience of active engagement in both private and public companies.

In 1999, he founded Prospect Investment Management, which was responsible for making a range of investments on behalf of its clients, and in early stage companies including PayPoint Plc, Venture Production Plc and MessageLabs Group, of which he was chairman prior to its sale.

In addition to those companies, he has sat on the board of several private and public companies both in the UK and elsewhere.

He will operate in a non-independent capacity as a representative of Hamish Ogston, CPP's founder and largest shareholder, and will sit on the Board's Audit and Risk & Compliance Committees.

David Morrison was a non-executive director of Patrizia Wigan plc, a privately owned company, which went into receivership in June 1992. Unpaid creditors, predominantly shareholder loans, amounted to £583,109. David Morrison was also a non-executive director of Purepower Group Limited, a privately owned company, which was placed into voluntary liquidation on 25 November 2011.

The Board confirms that no further disclosures are required pursuant to Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of the proposed appointment of David Morrison to the Board of CPP Group plc.
