CPP Group's InsurTech, Blink Parametric, wins global travel sector awards
CPP Group (AIM: CPP), a provider of real-time assistance products and resolution services which reduce disruptions to everyday life for millions of customers across the world, announces that its InsurTech, Blink Parametric, has been awarded Outstanding Industry Contribution of the Year at the prestigious International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ) Awards.
The award win follows Blink's listing in FinTech's Global's 'InsurTech100' for 2022. The InsurTech100 list was selected from a list of 1,800 companies by a panel of analysts and industry experts. Since the awards, Blink has secured membership in the India InsurTech association and contracted with a new client, Salaam Takaful, which is a further exciting launch into the Asian market.
Blink currently targets the global travel sector with parametric flight disruption and lost luggage solutions. The Group's strategy and change management announcement made on 19 October 2022, noted Blink's increasingly more prominent role in the Group as it pursues its strategic ambition of migrating to an InsurTech business.
