Blink Parametric signs contract extension with Blue Cross

CPP Group (AIM: CPP), a provider of real-time assistance products and resolution services which reduce disruptions to everyday life for millions of customers across the world, is pleased to announce a contract extension with a key client for Blink Parametric ("Blink"), the Group's InsurTech business.

Blink has signed a three-year contract extension with Blue Cross, one of Canada's largest Travel Insurers. This contract will see Blink's parametric flight delay solution continuing to be included within travel insurance policies sold by Blue Cross across multiple provinces including Ontario and Quebec. Following a notable increase in policy volumes in 2023, Blue Cross forecast further growth in policies which include Blink's services through a combination of organic growth and access to the broader Blue Cross network.

Blue Cross, in 2018, was first to launch Blink's parametric flight disruption solution into the Canadian market and earlier this year was one of the first partners to migrate onto Blink's new user experience platform. This contract extension to some extent reflects the long-term relationship between the two businesses but more importantly, it reflects the value that Blink's parametric services add to the broader Blue Cross proposition. Blink's solutions allow Blue Cross to help in real-time their customers who have had the misfortune to suffer a flight delay.
