Transactions in shares by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities - Scrip Dividends

On 17 October 2017 Costain announced that elections have been made by Costain shareholders to receive 63,867 ordinary shares of 50p each in Costain's capital ("Shares") in lieu of cash in respect of all or part of their interim dividend for the year ending 31 December 2017, which was paid on Friday 20 October 2017.

Costain has been notified that Jane Lodge, a Non-Executive Director, received into her Self Invested Personal Pension ("SIPP") Shares in lieu of cash in respect of the 2017 interim dividend as follows:

Costain was also notified today that Ms Lodge received into her SIPP Shares in lieu of cash in respect of previous Costain dividends as follows:

Costain has been notified that Ms Lodge holds a total of 24,658 Shares, all through her SIPP, following receipt of the scrip dividend on 20 October 2017.
