Resignation of Director
Coats Group plc ('Coats' or the 'Company') announces that Blake Nixon, Non-Executive Director, has decided to step down from the Board of Directors with effect from 31 December 2015.
Commenting on today's announcement Mike Clasper, Chairman, said:
'On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Blake, who has decided to step down as a Non-Executive Director, for his many years of service to the Company. He has brought a great deal of insight and experience, having become an Executive Director of Guinness Peat Group plc (GPG) in 1990 and then a Non-Executive Director of GPG in 2011. In the last few years, Blake has supported the successful completion of GPG's asset realisation programme and earlier in 2015 the renaming of the Company to Coats Group plc. The Board joins me in wishing Blake the very best for the future.'
