Nine year contract win with Nationwide Building Society ("Nationwide")

Leading marketing services provider, Communisis plc (LSE: CMS) announces the award of a nine year contract by Nationwide Building Society for the development and production of its customer communications, including transactional, marketing and regulatory mailings. The award of this contract is the culmination of a strategic review by Nationwide to determine the best way to deliver its outbound customer communications.

The new contract commences in the first quarter of 2013 and covers a nine year term. It significantly extends the Group's relationship to include all of the transactional documentation that is currently produced in-house by Nationwide. All of this activity will now be transferred to Communisis' transactional centre of excellence in Liverpool, using high-speed colour digital technology.

Nationwide has been an important client of Communisis for a number of years during which period the Group has expanded the range and volume of services provided. Communisis will continue to produce direct mail, regulatory communications and security products and source point of sale and marketing collateral through its managed supply chain.

Communisis will also deploy its workflow, document asset management and document composition technology to help Nationwide transform the clarity and effectiveness of its customer communications.
