CML Microsystems PLC01 March 2006 For Release 7:30am 1st March 2006 CML Microsystems Plc Board Change CML Microsystems Plc (the Company) announces that George Bates will be retiringfrom his executive position of Director of Engineering effective from 31 March2006, but will continue to serve with the board as non-executive director. George Bates joined the Company in November 1971 and was appointed Groupdirector of engineering in May 1984. From this position, he has played a leadingrole in the successful development of the CML Group's range of semiconductorproducts for the global wire-line and wireless communications markets.
