AGM Statement

Chamberlin, the specialist foundry and engineering group, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today and the Chairman, Keith Butler-Wheelhouse, will provide the following update on current trading:

"I am pleased to report that trading in the first three months of the new financial year has been in line with management expectations. Our initiative to implement new machining capability is progressing well and supports a major new automotive contract, as previously reported.

Like last year, the Board expects the Group's performance to be weighted towards the second half of the financial year and we look forward to providing a further update in due course.

Regarding the outcome of EU Referendum, it is too early to comment with any certainty on any longer term implications for the Group. Currently, approximately 36% of Chamberlin's sales are exported to the EU."
