Third Investment
CIP Merchant Capital is pleased to announce its investment in Alkemy SpA ("Alkemy"), a leading company in the innovation of business models for large and medium-sized companies to improve their market position and competitiveness. Alkemy listed on the AIM Italia market of Borsa Italiana in December 2017, raising in aggregate, €32.7 million. For the year ended 31 December 2017, Alkemy achieved net sales of €44.89 million, an increase of 28.9% on the prior year, EBITDA of €5.06 million, net profits of €1.53 million and, as 31 December 2017, had total assets of €54.15 million.
The Company has acquired, in aggregate, 285,000 shares in Alkemy, representing approximately 5.2% of Alkemy's issued share capital, for a total consideration of approximately €3.3 million.
The investment in Alkemy constitutes the Company's third investment.
