Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial and Pelham to merge
Chime Communications plc ('Chime') announces that it has reached agreement with Pelham Public Relations Limited ('Pelham') to merge its Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial business with Pelham. James Henderson, founder and CEO of Pelham will become Managing Director of the new business which will be called Pelham Bell Pottinger. Chime will own a majority of the enlarged business.
The transaction, which is subject to contract, is expected to be concluded before the end of 2009.
Lord Bell, Chairman of Chime, said;
