Chime Communications PLC19 July 2005 CHIME COMMUNICATIONS PLC (the "Company") Result of Extraordinary General Meeting The Directors of Chime Communications PLC are pleased to announce that at theExtraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today, the resolutionsrequired to approve the acquisition of VCCP Limited (the "Acquisition") and therelated party transaction with WPP North Atlantic Limited, were passed. The completion of the Acquisition is subject only to the admission of those45,826,777 new ordinary shares, which are to be issued pursuant to theAcquisition, to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading onthe market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange. This is expectedto take place at 8:00 am on 20th July 2005.
