Consolidation of Issued Share Capital

The Company announces that at today's Annual General Meeting Shareholders passed an ordinary resolution to consolidate the issued share capital of the company into 25 pence ordinary shares.

Accordingly application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange plc for 57,057,900 ordinary shares of 25p each ("Consolidation Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the UKLA and to trading on the London Stock Exchange under ISIN number GB00B2QY9355. It is expected that the Shares will be admitted and trading will commence on 19 May 2008.
