The Company received notification on the 17th December 2008 that Mark Smith, a director of the Company, bought shares via the following transaction on 17th December 2008. 

Mark Smith purchased a total of 3,300 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company at 54.5 pence per share, through The Alliance Trust SIPP.

The beneficial interest of Mark Smith following this transaction is 153,194 shares, additionally a beneficial interest of 14,640 shares held in an employee trust, representing 0.27% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
