Retirement of a Non-Executive Director
Appointment of new Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee
The Company announces that Mr. George Stevens, Chairman and non-executive director, has retired from the Board following the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 19th December 2013.
Mr. Kevin Allen a non-executive director has assumed the role of Chairman with immediate effect.
The Company is delighted to announce that Mr. Ian Martin, has joined the Board as a non-executive director with immediate effect, and has assumed the role of chairman of our audit committee. Mr Martin was the former chief executive of Avesco plc until June 2012.
Mr. Allen, Chairman of CGW said, "I would like to thank George for his contribution to CGW since his appointment to our Board in December 2006. Over that period, the Company assets have grown and performed well. George has provided insight and guidance reflecting his breadth of financial and commercial experiences from which the Board and Company have benefited. We wish him well for the future. I would also like to welcome Ian to the Board and look forward to working with him".
