Director Shareholding

China Goldmines today announces changes to its Directors' interests in Shares of the Company.

On 9 April 2009 Alex Worrall, Non-Executive Director, sold 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 20p per share to fulfil personal obligations. The shares were acquired by Lance Browne, Chairman.

Concurrently, Lance Browne has agreed that Mr Worrall will buy back the shares acquired from him at 20p per share on 1 June 2009.

As a result of the dealings on 9 April 2009 the Directors' beneficial interests in the Company's ordinary shares are as follows:

1. Mr Vanspeybroeck's interests set out above include his beneficial interest in 6,000,001 Ordinary Shares held by Bowlane Nominees Limited, 666,667 Ordinary Shares held by Immo Services Pty Limited and 166,667 Ordinary Shares held by Pershing Nominees Limited. 

2. Mr Vidovich's interests set out above include 166,670 Ordinary Shares held by Komway Holdings Pty Limited. 

3. Mr Donner's interests set out above include 4,649,999 Ordinary Shares held by Perpetual Trustees Nominees Ltd. Mr Donner is a director of Linq Capital Limited which is the responsible entity of the Linq Resources Fund, a unit trust whose assets are held by Perpetual Trustees Nominees Ltd and, in addition, a company associated with Mr Donner is a beneficiary of the Linq Resources Fund. Mr Donner does not have a beneficial interest in these shares.
