It is announced that an award of options over Catlin Group Limited's (the "Company") common shares of $0.01 each ("Common Shares") was made on 16 February 2012 pursuant to the Company's Performance Share Plan as follows:

Up to 50% of the award will be eligible to vest in each of 2015 and 2016, but only to the extent that the performance conditions set forth in the Performance Share Plan are achieved.
