Leni Gas & Oil PLC12 November 2007 For Immediate Release 12 November 2007 LENI GAS & OIL PLC ("LENI GAS" OR THE "COMPANY") Results of Extraordinary General Meeting At the Extraordinary General Meeting held today, the resolution to approve theacquisition of the entire issued share capital of Compagnine Petrolifera DeSedano was duly passed. The acquisition is expected to be completed and the8,000,000 new Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each be issued and allotted by Thursday15 November 2007. The acquisition constitutes a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules and dealingsin a total of 393,400,027 Ordinary Shares are expected therefore to commence on16 November 2007.
