Computacenter plc, Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, today announces the acquisition of becom Informationssysteme GmbH in Germany, a leading provider of large IBM systems, from USCF Holding GmbH.
This acquisition will strengthen Computacenter's position in the German IT systems market. The initial cash consideration payable amounts to €2 million and in addition, there may be further consideration of up to €1.2 million, depending on completion of the final balance sheet position. It is anticipated that this acquisition will not have a material financial impact on Computacenter plc.
