Block listing application

The Company announces that it has made application to the UK Listing Authority and London Stock Exchange for a block listing of, in aggregate, 611,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'). The block listing is in respect of Ordinary Shares to be allotted pursuant to future exercises of options under the following schemes:

·; 66,000 Ordinary Shares under the Carclo plc Discretionary Share Option Scheme 1997; and

·; 545,000 Ordinary Shares under the Carclo plc Executive Share Option Scheme 2000.

The shares, when allotted, will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The application has been made for the admission of the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange from 24 August 2010.
