The truck will operate within Tesco's Distribution Fleet as part of a trial toassess the operational and environmental effectiveness compared to a standardtruck. The trial will continue until the end of the year. If successful, Tescomay introduce more vehicles to its fleet which have been adapted to theDual-Fuel(TM)technology. The trial is part of an initiative among Tesco, Clean Air Power and Mercedes,with the goal of examining less expensive, cleaner and environmentally friendlyways of transporting goods around the country.
