Northern Petroleum (AIM: NOP) advises that its Chairman, Mr Jon Murphy, has today purchased 325,200 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 30.75 pence per ordinary share. Following this transaction Mr Murphy has a beneficial interest in 325,200 ordinary shares representing 0.34 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
