Tanzania Gold PLC17 November 2006 17 November 2006 Tanzania Gold Plc ("Tanzania Gold") Commencement of Drilling at Mkurumu Project Tanzania Gold plc (TZG.L), the AIM listed exploration and development companywith projects in highly prospective Tanzania, is pleased to announce continuingprogress since its admission to AIM in September 2006. Stanley Mining Services has now commenced drilling with a CS1000 diamond drillrig at the Mkurumu Project. The programme, which is expected to continue untilthe year end, will include at least ten holes of between 1000m to 1100m on fivedrill profiles to test for mineralisation, stratigraphy and structure.
